Build a Bridge is a free game which allows you to test out your construction skills in a bridge building exercise that offers plenty of fun and realistic gameplay.
Mind the gap
Making your way over a series of rivers, ravines and even icebergs, Build a Bridge is one of a number of construction games available to play. This one offers some physics which truly seem realistic when you test your bridge out with a range of vehicles, such as trucks, ambulances and beach buggies. You get to try your designs out in a number of different materials, too. Why choose wood for your next construction when you could opt for metal or cables? There are no less than 36 different levels each presenting its own challenge, with some great stylised artwork. If you want, you can even opt for a crazy design rather than something entirely functional. Who cares so long as you can get from A to B? The game's construction phase is in two dimensions, but it switches to 3-D mode when you test the bridge out. If it collapses, then you'll see it in all its glory!
Bridge over troubled water?
Build a Bridge is rated Pegi 3 and is fun for all ages, but the gameplay is somewhat repetitive even though the levels differ from one another. The best thing about it is the realistic physics engine that lies behind the game but you wouldn't use it to test out real-life designs!
